Fun Brushing Activity for Teaching Toddlers & Smile Organics Tooth Gel Review

It’s important to teach your child the importance of cleaning their teeth and making it an enjoyable activity. Believe me, I’ve struggled with my teeth since my dentist told me that I easily get cavities and I even resulted in avoiding sugar for a year back then.

Luckily, there is a plethora of fun activities that you can do with your toddler and one of those activities includes this fun activity from Smiles Organic & Natural Tooth Gel. By the way, this post is not sponsored and I’m in no way affiliated with Smiles. I just thought that this activity we did was interesting and decided to share it on my blog.

Things you’ll need:
Smiles template (download it from bit.ly/SmilesPrintOut)
Clear acetate or plastic wrap
Whiteboard marker
An old toothbrush
Toothpaste

There are four different kinds of Smiles template to choose from. I taped the acetate on the printout to keep it aligned onto the printout. The whiteboard marker will be used to draw the cavities while the old toothbrush will be used to brush out the cavity marks.

It’s a creative way to let your toddler know how brushing their teeth can keep it clean. Your child will draw the cavities all over the teeth on the printout and they’ll be the one to clean it as well.

Smile Organic & Natural Tooth Gel Review
Smiles Organics, claims to be the first organic and natural tooth gel for babies in the Philippines. Containing no SLS, artificial flavors, gluten, triclosan, SLS, and parabens, I expected the Smile Organic & Natural Tooth Gel to be on the expensive side especially since it’s an organic toothpaste for kids. However, the price seems reasonable since it’s only around P109 for 50mL and they even had a buy 1 take 1 promo.

We tried the tooth gel for 2-5 years and it’s supposed to gently clean teeth and gums while preventing cavities and strengthen the tooth enamel. It’s made with natural preservatives and has a minty bubblegum flavor. It also looks like a clear gel. It foams just a little bit and I like that it doesn’t smell too sweet. It doesn’t feel too minty on the mouth either, making it perfect for little ones.
