Where to go in Malaysia: Itinerary Traveling with a Child

Our last trip was to Malaysia and I traveled with a child. Here are some of the places I visited with my child.

Batu Caves, Selangor
Get ready to climb a lot of stairs at Batu Caves. Bring a hat or even an umbrella like I did if you can't handle the heat of the sun. You can book a day tour on Klook.

Genting Highlands, Pahang
It was really hot when I visited Malaysia so a trip to the cold Genting Highlands was definitely an experience that I welcomed. Book a Genting Highlands day tour on Klook.

Malacca
We visited Jonker Walk to buy some clothes and walked around Malacca as well as took the night cruise. Since it was really hot, we decided to take a break inside the Mamee Jonker House (I'll post about this separately). You can check out the Historical Malacca Tour with Lunch on Klook.

Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur
I did some shopping at Petaling Street which is Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown.

The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur
The Tun Razak Exchange, also known as TRX, is a fairly new mall in Kuala Lumpur and is filled with luxury brand outlets. It is also directly connected to the MRT, this station is called the The TRX Samsung Galaxy Station. You can check out the KL TravelPass on Klook where you can get KLIA Ekspres + Unlimited Rail Transfer for 2 days.

Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur
Our trip wouldn't be complete without a photo op at the famous Petronas Twin Towers. It's even more impressive at night. Check out Petronas Twin Towers Ticket on Klook.

KL Tower, Kuala Lumpur
You'll notice that there are a lot of tourist attractions related to towers and KL Tower is one of the original tower attractions. Klook also sells KL Tower Tickets.

We also visited some night markets but I’ll be posting them in a different post. Since we mostly ate food at the night markets, I decided to upload them in my food blog.

Apart from enjoying the delicious food, I also did some shopping for myself and for some souvenirs (mostly food) requested by my mom.

If you plan to go book multiple attractions on Klook, it would be better to check out their Klook Pass Kuala Lumpur.
