Places to have fun and where I shopped in Malaysia

Despite going to Penang on my latest trip to Malaysia, I feel that I did more shopping this time around. I’ve been meaning to visit and shop at these places in Malaysia but I wasn’t able to do so during my first visit.

Gift Gate Malaysia
It was by pure coincidence that I passed by Clarins Malaysia after shopping at Gift Gate Malaysia and guess who I saw? It was a pretty Cinnamoroll dressed in pink to match its collaboration with Clarins Malaysia. 

Location:  Lower Ground Two, Sunway Pyramid

It was only this time around that I found out certain malls have tourist perks. While some offer discounts, malls like Sunway Pyramid gave out this tourist package with milk tea sachets, free food vouchers, and discount vouchers. We used the free food vouchers and got ourselves free noodles from The Original Boat Noodle.

The Parent Company
I love fragrances as much as the next girl so I couldn’t resist when I heard that there’s a store specializing in mini fragrances by high-end fragrance brands. I was hooked because I heard that these mini fragrances are authentic. They even have this vending machine featuring cute mini bags that can fit their mini fragrances. The Parent Company also has a branch in Singapore. I told my friend about this and she didn’t know that The Parent Company was based in Malaysia. She only saw the Instragram reels featuring their Singapore branch.

Q Pocket
My daughter has been pining over my squishy Cinnamoroll pencil case so I promised I would get her one on our next Malaysia trip. We went to Q Pocket and it was filled with cute characters such as Capybara and Cinnamoroll.

Location: Q Pocket has multiple branches but I went to the one in Bukit Bintang.

Chagee
I found my new favorite flavour from Chagee when they launched the Hojicha. I love the pretty packaging they had for the Chenle and Chagee collaboration. The bookmarks were also too pretty to resist. I took home 2 or 3 bookmarks.

MiX.Store
I went to the MiX.Store looking for some snacks but I ended up taking home a couple of Cinnamoroll drinks and Cinnamoroll candy. One of the Sanrio drinks had a capsule attached to its head and luckily, the character I got was Cinnamoroll. The other character I got was Hello Kitty.

Halolo Park
Last but not least, I went to Halolo Park and had a blast with their claw machines. Their claw machines are way better than the claw machines that I’ve tried in the Philippines. It was a struggle to fit all my claw machine loot into my luggages but it was well worth it.
