3 Day Christmas Itinerary Tagaytay [Museums & Must-Try Restaurants with Beautiful Views]

For those who appreciate arts and simple pleasures, you’ll surely enjoy this itinerary I prepared for our latest Tagaytay trip last Christmas. The Christmas season is definitely filled with beautiful lights and Tagaytay is no exception.

Day 1: Lunch at Balay Dako
From the famous Antonio’s Group of Restaurants, Balay Dako is a well-known restaurant in Tagaytay that is often lined up for. They serve delicious Filipino food which you can eat while enjoying the view.

Location: Tagaytay - Nasugbu Hwy, Tagaytay, Cavite

Day 1: Queen’s Strawberry Farm
We wanted to pick strawberries since I was told before that December was their picking season but when we got there, all the strawberries were already picked. We also couldn’t buy strawberries since they were out of stock but we were able to enjoy their delicious strawberry buko pie and strawberry shake. My daughter also went fishing again. At night, the place looked a lot livelier because of the beautiful lights.

Location: Sitio Hawilian 2, Alfonso, Cavite

Day 1: Dinner at Highlands China Palace
We had our dinner at Tagaytay Highland’s China Palace. The food was really good but it’s quite pricey.

Location: 42WP+CV4 Tagaytay Highlands, Tagaytay, Cavite

Day 2: Breakfast at Tsokolateria
Tsokolateria was one of the restaurants that I really pushed for us to try, it did not disappoint. The food was really delicious and the flavors were uncommon, the food itself was arranged beautifully. Tsokolateria is where The Boutique Bed and Breakfast is, which is one of the restaurants we ate at a few years ago.

Location: The Boutique Bed & Breakfast, 45 Emilio Aguinaldo Hwy, Silang Junction South, Tagaytay, Cavite

Day 2: Appreciating Art at Museo Orlina
If you love art, then you’ll appreciate Museo Orlina, a modern indoor-outdoor museum featuring glass sculptures by Ramon Orlina. When we went there, the entrance fee was P130. Now, the entrance fee for adults and foreigners is P150 while PWDs, undergraduate students, and children have an entrance fee of P120.

Location: Hollywood Subdivision Road Brgy, Subd, Tagaytay, Cavite

Day 2: Stocking up on fruits at Mahogany Market
Mahogany Beef Market & Bulalohan is known for its delicious bulalo,I was able to try their bulalo a few years ago when I went there with some work colleagues. However, this time, we went there to buy some fresh fruits. We drank fresh buko juice and bought a lot of fruits which we ate the following day as our breakfast.

Location: 10 Mahogany Ave, Tagaytay, Cavite

Day 2: Dinner at Farmer’s Table
Another restaurant that serves delicious and beautifully plated food is Farmer’s Table which is located inside Nurture Wellness Village. The only downside is that the place had a lot of mosquitoes and I don’t why but their mosquitoes bite more painful than usual. Just bring a lot of mosquito repellant. While waiting for our table, we were able to enjoy some free popcorn.

Location: Nurture Wellness Village, Pulong Sagingan, Barangay Maitim II West Luzon, Tagaytay, Cavite

Day 3: Puzzle Mansion
Recognized as the largest collection of jigsaw puzzles by the Guinness World Records (2012 - 2017), Puzzle Mansion is perfect for those who love puzzles. They also display 3D puzzles and life-sized jigsaw puzzles. You can also buy puzzles from their souvenir shop. There's an entrance fee of P100.

Location: Cuadra Street, Brgy Asisan, Tagaytay, Cavite,

Day 3: Lunch at Nabe Izakaya
Once again, we enjoyed an unlimited hotpot at Nabe Izakaya. You can check out my previous post about Nabe Izakaya.

Location: Sky Ranch Tagaytay, Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, Brgy. Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City

Day 3: Buying pasalubong at Rowena's Pasalubong
Of course, no trip is complete without taking home some pasalubong.

Location: The Cliffhouse, 185 Tagaytay-Nasugbu Rd, Tagaytay, Cavite

Day 3: Enjoying Drinks at Buon Giorno Caffe & Bistro
Before heading home, we enjoyed some drinks at Buon Giorno Caffe & Bistro while savoring the beautiful view.

Location: The Cliffhouse, 185 Tagaytay-Nasugbu Rd, Tagaytay, Cavite
