From First Tooth to Kiddie Smile, Grow Up Smiling Brightly with Colgate: Colgate Kids Toothpaste Honest Review

I recently received a package from Colgate containing a baby toothbrush, baby toothpaste, kids toothpaste, and an adorable bunny stuffed toy. It's good to get your baby starting on brushing their teeth when they get their first teeth. At my toddler's playschool, they were required to bring a toothbrush and a toothpaste which they'll use after snack time. It's probably best that your tot knows how to use a toothbrush by themselves before entering school but I'm pretty sure that your tots will be assisted anyway.

Baby Toothbrush (0-12 months)
BPA Free and made out 100% Food-Grade Silicone
Soft, gentle bristles that help ease the pain of teething
A toothbrush "feel" that introduces babies to the brushing experience

I've used those small transparent silicone toothbrushes that you slip on your index finger and I've always felt that it was enough when my baby got older. What I like about this baby toothbrush is that it's colorful and appeals to babies. I like that babies can attempt to use the baby toothbrush since there are handles on both sides.

Baby Toothpaste (0-2 years old)
0% artificial flavors, sweeteners & colors
Flouride-free: safe if swallowed
Baby-friendly: natural flavor

One of the fears I had before my baby knew how to spit was what if she swallowed the toothpaste. Luckily, there are now more options where the kinds of baby toothpaste are as natural as they can be.

Kids Toothpaste (3-5 years old)
0% artificial flavors, sweeteners & colors
Age-appropriate fluoride level
Kid-friendly natural flavor

Honest Review
Once your toddler learns how to spit the toothpaste they can start using the kids toothpaste. Prior to receiving this PR package, I've already tried this Kids Toothpaste and it was a pretty good option for a kids toothpaste. It's not too strong or too minty for a kid, but it keeps my toddler's teeth clean. My daughter loves the colorful packaging and it makes her look forward to brushing her teeth. The only thing I don't like about this Kids Toothpaste is that it contains SLS, unlike the Baby Toothpaste which has no SLS. If you don't know what SLS is, it's what makes toothpaste foam and I feel that it's not necessary but most kinds of toothpaste use it anyway.
